Open Arms Home Health Care is currently hiring State Tested Nurse Aides (STNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care for clients in the comfort of their own homes. No experience? No problem! We are happy to train caring individuals who are eager to learn and grow with our team.

What You'll Do:

As a valued member of our caregiving team, you will: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful conversation Perform light housekeeping related to client care Observe and report changes in a client's condition to the supervising nurse Follow individualized care plans and agency policies Maintain client safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times STNAs only: Measure and document vital signs as permitted by the client's care plan Qualifications For State Tested Nurse Aides (STNAs) Completion of an Ohio Department of Health (ODH)-approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) (minimum 75 hours ) For Home Health Aides (HHAs) Completion of a state- or federally compliant Home Health Aide training program , including: Minimum 75 hours of training At least 16 hours of supervised clinical training Additional Requirements (All Applicants) Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to pass an Ohio BCI background check Negative TB test (per ODH requirements) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving duties Reliable transportation and valid identification Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Willingness to follow HIPAA, infection control, and workplace safety standards Preferred (Not Required) Previous home health, assisted living, or long-term care experience CPR and/or First Aid certification (required)

Pay:

$15.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 12.0 per week
