The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for providing safe, respectful, consistent, and person-centered support to individuals residing in the group home or a supported living site. The DSP assists individuals with daily living activities, health and safety needs, household responsibilities, community participation, and the achievement of outcomes identified in their Individual Plan (IP). Responsibilities and Duties Implement Individual Service Plan as part of the daily routine. Provide documentation for all Individual Service Plan and medically related responsibilities Follow the established household routine and household/activity calendar Assist the individual in developing an active and full circle of friends, family, co- workers, and peers through the full use of community work and leisure activities and events. Qualifications and Skills Must have high school or GED equivalent diploma Valid driver's license & in good standing Pass background & drug screen Possess clear verbal and written skills Attend required one week paid new hire training before assignment 1st Aid/CPR, Delegated Nursing a plus but not required before hiring Benefits
