Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing behavior, and reporting changes to healthcare teams Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals, assist with meal planning, and help clients with cooking activities to promote healthy eating habits Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Maintain cleanliness of client living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Document patient observations, care activities, and progress accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is advantageous Hands-on experience with patient monitoring tools like vital sign measurement and medication administration is essential Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support is beneficial Ability to perform patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other safe handling techniques Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams This role is perfect for compassionate individuals eager to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment.
