Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Your responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and assistance with household tasks. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have experience in home health or related fields. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure the health of clients. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe living environment. Assist clients with catheter care as required. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Help clients engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of each client. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, hospice care, or home care is preferred. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic health care practices. Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus. Ability to perform household tasks such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
