Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for hospice patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient comfort and safety. Offer support with basic care tasks such as feeding, toileting, and hygiene. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Follow care plans under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.

Requirements:

Current STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification required. Previous hospice or home health care experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
