DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL DSP CAREGIVER

Every other Saturday and Sunday, plus every Wednesday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. PRN and fill-in opportunities may also be available. All employees start as part time and may pick up additional hours if/when available.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Monarch Agency is seeking dependable, compassionate, and responsible Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home and community-based support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. This is a meaningful opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping others and want to make a positive difference in the lives of the people they support. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, respectful, and comfortable working independently in a client's home and community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide one-on-one personal care and daily living support Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and daily routines Encourage independence, dignity, and community involvement Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and other approved locations as needed Receive mileage reimbursement for approved transportation Follow individualized service plans and client-specific instructions Assist individuals with participating in community activities Use adaptive equipment as required Complete electronic visit verification and other required documentation accurately and on time Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the care team Perform additional responsibilities as outlined in individual service plans

SCHEDULE

Every other Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM PRN and fill-in shifts may be available seven days a week, generally between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Other sites an hours may be available and will be offered to current part time employees on an as needed basis. Additional hours may be available based on client needs and staffing requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be fluent in spoken and written English Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Must be willing and able to transport clients when required Must be comfortable working independently in clients' homes Must be willing to complete required training and use adaptive equipment Must be authorized to work in the United States CPR and First Aid certification required
