Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Support clients with specialized needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or memory care by implementing tailored care plans Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Document all patient interactions, medical records, and care activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures Experience working with the elderly Ability to perform patient observation and recognize signs requiring immediate attention Skilled in assisting with ADLs, medication administration, catheter care, and hospice or dementia-specific care Knowledge of safety protocols including CPR certification and proper use of medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts helpful but not required Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and familiesJoin us if you are passionate about providing compassionate home health care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably.
