Entrusted Hearts Owasso is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient observations and vital signs to track health status and report changes promptly Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate medical documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments through specialized memory care techniques Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to ensure safe mobility and hygiene Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while adhering to dietary restrictions and medical guidelines Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records and EMR systems to ensure continuity of care Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive home environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals during hospice or long-term care plans to deliver compassionate support Experience Prior experience working in home health or community care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient-centered care for individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions Experience caring for seniors in assisted living or nursing home settings is advantageous Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and vital signs monitoring is essential Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), HIPAA compliance training, and specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care certifications are required or highly desirable Long-term care experience working with people with developmental disabilities or hospice patients will strengthen your application EH offers competitive pay and benefits, including the recent addition of a daily pay option, along with a desirable weekday work schedule for this position.
