Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality personal care to patients in their home under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's comfort and dignity. Responsibilities Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as ordered on the plan of care. Monitor patient status and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the Registered Nurse in a timely fashion. Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and range of motion exercises. Maintain accurate daily visit records and document care provided electronically or on paper. Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Experience/Requirements Current CHHA license/certification in good standing. CPR Certification (from American Heart - preferred) Familiarity with electronic visit verification (EVV) or electronic health records is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Ability to follow a written plan of care and adhere to safety guidelines. Compensation $18.00/visit for a regular aide visit $18.00/hour for homemaker aide program Please note this is a part-time position leading up to a full-time position.
