Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Homecare Assistant Manager to lead and coordinate our home healthcare services. Key Responsibilities Staff Supervision:
Help hire, train, mentor, and schedule direct support workers, home health aides, and care assistants.
Client Care Coordination:
Assist with in-home intake assessments, develop personalized care plans, and monitor ongoing client needs.
Administrative Operations:
Maintain accurate records, handle billing or scheduling adjustments, manage office correspondence, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Communication:
Act as a main point of contact for clients, families, and healthcare providers to resolve concerns and answer inquiries.
Quality Assurance:
Support agency quality improvement projects, track medical logs, and ensure follow-up on health recommendations.
On-Call Expectations:
Part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
Qualifications and Skills Education:
High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in a home care, healthcare, or supervisory setting.
Skills:
Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, basic computer and web-based software proficiency, and clear verbal communication.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable local transportation may be required for client home visits.
