Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and certification About the Role We are seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide non-medical and personal care services to clients in their homes. You will help clients live safely and independently while treating them with dignity, respect, and kindness. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility Provide companionship and emotional support Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care Provide medication reminders (no administration unless certified and authorized) Assist with transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices Accompany clients to appointments and errands as scheduled Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the supervisor Follow the client's individualized care plan at all times Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED preferred HHA certification or successful completion of a state-approved training/competency program (or willingness to complete agency-provided training) Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if transporting clients, valid auto insurance required) Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients (up to 50 lbs with proper technique) Current TB screening and physical exam (or willingness to obtain upon hire) CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Background Check Requirements (Pennsylvania) In accordance with the Pennsylvania Older Adults Protective Services Act (Act 169): All applicants must complete a Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) criminal history background check prior to hire. Applicants who have not been a resident of Pennsylvania for the two (2) years immediately preceding the date of application must also complete an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal history background check . Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of all required background checks. Applicants may also be subject to child abuse clearances if serving clients under age 18.
