Elaines House is hiring dependable and compassionate PRN Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in their homes and communities. This is an as-needed position. Hours are based on participant needs and employee availability; a specific number of weekly hours is not guaranteed.

Pay:

$20-$22 per hour

PRN/on-call, including possible evenings and weekends

Location:

Butler County, PA Responsibilities:

Assist participants with daily living and independent-living skills Support community activities, appointments, shopping, and recreation Help participants work toward goals in their Individual Support Plans Provide companionship and promote choice, dignity, and independence Complete service notes and other required documentation accurately Follow ODP regulations, incident-reporting procedures, and agency policies Provide transportation when required by the participant's service plan

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old High-school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation Ability to pass required criminal and employment background checks Dependable, professional, patient, and comfortable working independently DSP, caregiving, behavioral-health, or ID/A experience is preferred but not required CPR, first aid, medication-administration, and required ODP training will be provided or verified
