This role involves supporting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within their homes or community settings. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer's or dementia care. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while working in a supportive environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and observe patient conditions, reporting changes or concerns promptly Prepare meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with diet Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in home or community settings Qualifications Prior experience in home care Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with seniors.
