The DSP will assist individuals in achieving greater independence, community inclusion, personal growth, and meaningful participation in everyday life. DSPs play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives and actively participate in their communities.

Pay Rate:

$18.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Mileage Reimbursement:

Available for approved community activities Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support in community settings. Assist individuals in developing social, communication, and independent living skills. Support participation in recreational, educational, volunteer, and community activities. Encourage personal choice, self-advocacy, and independence. Provide transportation to approved community activities and appointments. Complete service documentation and progress notes accurately and timely. Follow Individual Support Plans (ISP), behavior support strategies, and agency policies. Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, supports coordinators, and team members. Assist with community integration, daily living supports, and skill-building activities as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver's License and reliable insured vehicle. Ability to pass criminal background checks and required clearances. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and demonstrate professionalism.
