Position Summary As a Community Participation Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will help individuals build the skills needed to live, work, volunteer, and actively participate in their communities. Community Participation Support is a person-centered service focused on teaching practical life skills, employment readiness, volunteer skills, communication, and community engagement. As a DSP, you will serve as a teacher, coach, mentor, and advocate, helping individuals achieve the goals identified in their Individual Support Plan (ISP). Responsibilities Teach and support individuals in achieving their ISP goals. Develop daily living, employment, volunteer, communication, and social skills. Provide meaningful community-based learning experiences. Safely transport individuals to community activities, appointments, employment, volunteer opportunities, and other approved destinations. Complete accurate documentation in the Therap electronic documentation system. Administer medications after ODP certification. Ensure each individual's health, safety, dignity, and rights. Collaborate with families and members of the interdisciplinary team. Follow Pennsylvania ODP regulations and Agape Human Services policies. Transportation Requirement This position requires the use of a personal, insured vehicle to transport individuals in the community. Employees are reimbursed for eligible business mileage in accordance with the agency's mileage reimbursement policy.

Qualifications Applicants must:

Be at least 18 years of age. Have a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle. Possess strong communication, documentation, and basic computer skills. Demonstrate basic math and record-keeping abilities. Work independently with professionalism and sound judgment. Successfully complete all required background checks, FBI fingerprint clearance, employment verification, drug screening, and physical examination. Experience in human services, education, healthcare, job coaching, or supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Paid training is provided.
