INDIVIDUAL IS BLIND AND NON-VERBAL. MOM IS LOOKING FOR A FEMALE STAFF TO ASSIST WITH HER GETTING OFF THE BUS, SNACKS, PUZZLES, MUSIC AND GAMES FOR 3 HOURS AFTER SCHOOL AND WITH BATHROOM DURING MENSTRUAL TIME. IT IS ESSENTIAL TO BE ON TIME TO ASSIST HER GETTING OFF THE BUS.

Whether assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, or engaging in community outings, your energy and empathy will help create a positive environment where clients can thrive. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills while making a lasting impact on the people you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, and hygiene to ensure comfort and dignity. Provide patient observation and monitor for changes in health status or behavior, especially for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental disorders. Help with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs tailored to individual dietary requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient progress, and incident reports while respecting residents' rights. Engage clients in meaningful activities and community outings to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Skills Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly valued. Strong knowledge of patient care techniques including first aid, CPR, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, dementia, or neurodevelopmental disorders. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary settings. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
