Overview Join our dedicated team as an In-Home and Community Participation Support professional, where your passion for empowering individuals with disabilities makes a meaningful difference every day! In this role, you will provide personalized support to clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities, helping them engage confidently in their homes and communities. Your energetic approach will foster independence, promote social inclusion, and enhance quality of life for those you serve. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation Support participation in community outings, recreational activities, and social events to promote engagement and independence Implement individual programs and behavior management strategies by following written objectives and plans and report using required documentation Use of personal vehicle to transport clients to appointments, activities, or community events Perform first aid or CPR as needed, following established safety protocols Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care and positive experiences Experience Prior experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or intellectual disorders not required but preferred Demonstrated ability in behavior management techniques and supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities Home & community care experience involving direct support roles is highly desirable Valid driver's license; clean driving record required Certifications such as first aid and CPR are required; additional training in behavioral health or caregiving is advantageous
