Overview:
At our family-owned and operated senior living community, we are committed to providing the senior citizens of Hazleton, Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas with privacy and freedom as well as the convenience and security of on-call assistance and maintenance-free living. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with activities of daily living. Responsibilities Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide support with mobility and safe transfers of residents. Monitor and document residents' health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life. Qualifications Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings is an advantage. Ability to work effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. High school diploma or GED required. Career advancements are available!
