Starting at $17.53 per hour About the Role As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at the Human Resources Center, Inc. (HRC), you will be a cornerstone of support for individuals with disabilities, fostering their independence, community participation, and overall quality of life. This role includes personalized, one-on-one assistance in both residential and community settings, emphasizing inclusion and skill-building.
Position Requirements Education:
High School diploma or GED (1-2 years of experience preferred but not required).
Age:
Recommended 21 years or older.
Driver's License:
Valid PA license with an acceptable driving record.
Clearances:
PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and Federal Background Check with acceptable results.
Physical Requirements:
Must pass a physical examination upon hire and every two years thereafter.
Training:
Complete Medication Administration, First Aid, CPR, CPI, and CPS courses within required timeframes.
