Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans under supervision or as trained Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding to meet individual dietary needs and preferences Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and infection control practices Provide companionship and emotional support while respecting residents' rights and promoting independence Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or dementia care Knowledge of patient observation techniques, patient monitoring, and recognizing signs of medical emergencies including first aid and CPR certification Familiarity with care procedures in group home settings, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments Ability to assist with complex tasks like medication administration, vital signs measurement, and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and assisting with resident transfers safely Join us to provide dedicated personal care that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
