Perkiomenville, PA 18074 MUSTHAVE A VEHICLE SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in the development and implementation of individual service plan Oversees and assists the residents in the completion of their homework and studies, household chores, house maintenance, etc. Reports observations of resident involvement in the daily record. Conducts fire drills at least monthly according to regulations and agency policies and procedures. Maintains residence, vehicle, and equipment in a safe, functional, and secure manner conducive to the residents' physical well-being. Assists the residents in the expression and fulfillment of their needs within the guidelines established in the facility policies to provide growth and self-sufficiency. Provides crisis intervention strategies as prescribed in the policies and procedures for treatment/support, as necessary. Responds in accordance with policies and procedures for handling emergency situations. Participates as a team member in supervisor, staff, and team meetings. Supports and follows all policies and procedures, as well as complying with all applicable state regulations. Supervises and/or administers the taking of medications in accordance with policies and procedures governing medication administration.Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required. Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or behavioral health settings preferred. Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
