About Us First Day Homecare is a locally owned, licensed home care agency providing compassionate, personalized care to families across the greater Philadelphia area. We are looking for a dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our clients. Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We're seeking a caring, reliable Home Health Aide to provide non-medical personal care and support to elderly clients in their own homes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and takes pride in helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed Provide medication reminders Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, dishes) related to the client's care Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities Accompany clients to appointments or run errands as needed Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the care team Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Follow individualized care plans developed for each client Qualifications Active PA Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain) Prior caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal) Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Clean background check and clearances (PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI fingerprinting as required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor Ability to lift/assist with transfers as needed Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Join us in delivering exceptional home health care that truly transforms lives! Pay:
$16.00 - $24.00 per hour
