Extended Family Care is hiring Home Health Aides to support patients in McKees Rocks, PA. Essential duties

• Assist patients with bathing, toileting and elimination needs, transfers, dressing and undressing, and walking. Help with making beds, changing linens, laundry, light housekeeping, and other tasks essential to the patient's health, following the individualized care plan.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as directed.
• Document services accurately and promptly according to company policy and the personal care plan. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Use electronic visit verification and submit required paperwork on the branch office's schedule.
• Measure and record temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered or directed by the RN Supervisor and personal care plan.
• Promptly report changes in the patient's condition or incidents to the RN Supervisor or therapist.
• Accompany patients to medical appointments when approved by the supervising nurse and included in the care plan.
• Encourage participation in activities and assist with range of motion exercises as directed.
• Carry out other assigned duties.

Qualifications Applicants must meet the training and testing requirements and hold current certification or registration required by state and federal regulations for the services provided.
