Responsibilities Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; report any abnormalities promptly Maintain detailed medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical records management tools Support residents with specialized care needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, including memory care techniques and behavioral management Perform manual handling tasks safely when assisting with transfers or heavy lifting, adhering to proper body mechanics Follow infection control procedures and maintain patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with HIPAA standards Skills Proven assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or senior care experience with a focus on patient-centered care Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR and first aid certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized attention Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or similar platforms for accurate documentation Ability to perform tube feeding, catheter care, and manage other complex medical procedures safely and effectively Strong communication skills for caregiving tasks and caregiver interactions; ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long shifts; capable of maintaining high energy levels while providing attentive resident personal care assistance Join us in delivering exceptional care that enriches lives!
