Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and profressional Personal Care Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in our facility. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient observations, including vital signs and overall health status, and report changes promptly Perform patient transfers using appropriate methods such as a sit-to-stand or transfer belts to ensure safety and comfort Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral management Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for clients Support end-of-life care with compassion and respect, collaborating with hospice teams when necessary Adhere to all safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification requirements, and proper patient transfer methods Skills Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health or behavior promptly Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory or dementia care Familiarity with home health care assistance practices and home & community care regulations Excellent client communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving techniques Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with patient transfers safely Certification in first aid, basic life support (BLS), CPR, and catheter care preferred but not required; training provided if needed Experience working within home health agencies or long-term care facilities is highly valued Ability to maintain patient confidentiality while providing attentive personal care assistance Join our team today to deliver heartfelt care that truly makes a difference!
