Description This Job Coach (Direct Support Professional) is responsible for providing job coaching services to the individuals who have selected Lark Enterprises, Inc. as their service provider. In this context, job coaching uses structured intervention techniques to help individuals learn to perform job tasks to specifications and to learn the interpersonal skills necessary to be accepted as a worker at a job site and in related community contacts. The job coach is also responsible for the provision of instruction, training, and assistance that support the individuals in attaining the specific outcomes found in their Individual Support Plans. Requirements Valid Driver's License
Child Abuse and Criminal Background Clearances
Possess 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR
Possess a high school diploma or general education development certificate and one year's work experience in industry or rehabilitation.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), math, and teamwork skills.
Basic Computer Skills. Department Supervisory Responsibilities Ensure the safety of the clients first and foremost
Basic knowledge of Janitorial work
Follow the weekly cleaning schedule
Communicate quality issues to management
Responsible for securing customer work sites (unlocking buildings, disarming and arming alarms, relocking building when job is complete)
Recommend improvement of the cleaning process to management Job Duties Transport individuals, equipment and supplies to customer sites daily in a Lark vehicle.
Supervise the loading and unloading of van
Fueling Lark vehicle as needed
