Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Northumberland. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support while learning vocational skills, ensuring they can thrive in their daily lives. Responsibilities Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities vocational activities. Monitor and document individual progress and well-being. Assist clients with personal care tasks as needed. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and goals. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages independence. Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care. Engage clients in social and occupational activities to enhance their quality of life. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred. Experience working in group homes or similar settings is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
