Job Description

Immediate Opening:
Direct Support Professional (Part-Time, 1099 Contractor) We are currently looking for a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. This role involves supporting a high-functioning adult female with autism who lives independently and is working toward continued growth in her daily life.
Schedule:
Days:
Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays Hours:
Approximately 10:00 AM -3:00 PM (15 hours/week) Some flexibility is available
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily living skills such as cooking, light housekeeping, shopping, and personal care Provide transportation and accompany the individual to appointments as needed Communicate regularly with the care team and other supports Work collaboratively with the individual and her family to provide consistent, person-centered care Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, progress, and any incidents
Qualifications:
Experience supporting adults with disabilities is preferred Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach Strong communication and organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance Ability to pass a background check Must obtain Spectrum 2.0 certification (free training available through MyODP prior to start date)
