This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide vital assistance in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, residential care homes, and home care environments. You will be a key contributor to enhancing residents' quality of life by delivering respectful, personalized care that promotes independence and well-being. We are committed to paying all our team members fairly for their valuable work and ensuring a positive, supportive environment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Support residents with medication reminders and basic health monitoring, including taking vital signs when necessary Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and reduce feelings of isolation Help with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition tailored to individual needs Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping and sanitation tasks Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during transfers or mobility assistance Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members regarding residents' conditions or changes Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or residential care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, CPR, and first aid certifications are strongly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when transporting clients or running errands Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with residents and their families Join us in providing compassionate, professional care that enriches lives every day!
