Physical location is in the Broad Top Area We are looking to get a pool of people that are willing to provide occasional support for an individual with intellectual disabilities. This support could include but not limited to providing transportation, teaching cooking skills, concerts, socialization, medication management , planning an activity/trip somewhere, supporting him to mow the lawn, maintain household cleaning. The initial plan is to have an online sign up sheet/on call list for when he might have a need. As his grandparents get older, he will need more support. Would like to have as many people that are willing to do this complete the necessary paperwork. All these duties may not be needed at this time but these are needs as we support him to plan for his future. His desire is to continue to live in his home. Starting pay is $20-$21/hour and mileage reimbursement for transportation into the community in your own vehicle.
