Duties Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and respect at all times Support patients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Monitor vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans, ensuring safety standards are maintained during meal preparation and feeding Maintain accurate care plans and document patient progress, medication administration, and other essential information following HIPAA regulations Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings to promote social engagement and independence Support patients with medication reminders or assistance under the supervision of licensed healthcare staff while adhering to safety protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Demonstrated ability to observe and monitor patients' conditions accurately, including vital signs and behavioral changes Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities is highly valued Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), manual handling, patient transfers, and the use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts Familiarity with care plans, medication administration protocols, HIPAA compliance, and resident's rights ensures quality care delivery Experience working with diverse populations such as seniors, individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities enhances your caregiving versatility Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining professionalism at all times Join us in providing compassionate support that empowers individuals to live their best lives!
