Remote Support Professional Do you have a special skill and passion for supporting people? Do you believe that we are better together by including everyone? KenCrest is hiring Remote Support Professionals (RSP) to provide remote support services to individuals in our Residential Group Home settings. The RSP will assist through active monitoring, PRN supports, and emergency response. The RSP engages with individuals to facilitate an environment to promote greater independence. The Remote Support Professional role is a great fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, staying calm under pressure and helping people build independence through remote support. Being in this role requires both attention to detail and creativity because you are serving as both a life coach and personal support agent.

Common Daily Tasks:

Interacting with and empowering supported persons in areas related to health, medication, safety, daily living, and independent decision making Responding to emergency requests from supported persons, and as needed, escalating to dispatching back-up in-person staffing (including notifying and coordinating with emergency services when required) Troubleshooting technology issues with remote support systems in the homes while providing ongoing training with technology to supported persons and their caregivers / parents / guardians to engage them to utilize in-home devices Observing wearable devices when person supported is away from home and providing assistance and interventions as needed Interacting with the person supported with high attention to engagement, promoting a positive environment that fosters respect and dignity within a cultural context Demonstrates ability to identify, prevent, and report situations of abuse, exploitation, neglect, and other adverse events

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1 - 2 years' of experience in supporting individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to convey, understand and follow spoken and written instructions in English Strong Communication skills IND123 Hourly
