Specialized Supports Location:
Coventry & Johnston, RI Pay:
$22.50-$23.50/hour Weekend Differential + $1.00/hour
Schedule:
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Make a Real Impact Every Day Join a mission-driven team delivering restorative care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in supportive, community-based settings. As a Restorative Support Professional, you will play a critical role in implementing behavioral health care plans and supporting individuals in achieving greater independence, emotional well-being, and community integration. What You'll Do Deliver restorative and rehabilitative services based on individual behavioral health care plans. Provide motivational, consistent, and respectful support to foster high-quality relationships. Use crisis intervention skills and offer intensive support during challenging moments. Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance individuals' daily routines and life skills , including: nutritional guidance, employment and volunteer opportunities, social and relationship development, personal care and hygiene, medication administration Maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes growth and autonomy. Who You Are (Required Skills & Qualifications) Deep understanding of intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring emotional/mental health needs. Skilled in monitoring, documenting , and communicating progress clearly and professionally. A natural role model with a positive, caring demeanor and a strong sense of teamwork.
Minimum Requirements Education :
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience :
1-2 years of experience providing rehabilitative or behavioral support to individuals with I/DD and mental health needs. Safety Care Certification preferred (current or previous).
Licensure :
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. (with assistance or lifting devices), and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, pushing/pulling, or kneeling without restriction.
