Join the Care Team at Performance Equine Vets! We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individuals to join the Care Team at our busy equine veterinary facility. This position supports the daily care, comfort, and safety of our hospital and reproductive patients.

Daily duties include:

Feeding grain, hay, water, and supplements according to each patient's treatment sheet Cleaning and bedding stalls, water buckets, feed tubs, and surrounding areas Monitoring horses for changes in behavior, appetite, manure production, or overall condition Safely handling and restraining horses for examinations, treatments, and procedures Turning horses out, hand-walking, grooming, and bathing as directed Assisting with hospitalized and reproductive patient care as needed. Cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing stalls for incoming patients Restocking supplies and keeping the barn, treatment areas, and equipment clean and organized Following hospital biosecurity, safety, and patient-care protocols Communicating patient concerns promptly to the appropriate veterinary team member Applicants should be reliable, observant, organized, and comfortable working around horses in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Previous equine-handling experience is preferred. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
