In Person We are currently hiring reliable, compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Caregivers/DSPs to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Darlington DDSN location in Hartsville, SC. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, team-oriented, hands-on, and committed to providing quality care and support to adults with special needs and disabilities. Caregivers/DSPs play an important role in helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and with dignity while supporting their daily routines, independence, and personal goals. Available Positions & Shifts 2nd Shift - Residential 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM $17.00 per hour Full-time positions available Mandatory rotating schedule Weekends are required Schedule will rotate based on staffing needs 3rd Shift - Residential 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM $17.00 per hour Full-time positions available Mandatory rotating schedule Weekends are required Schedule will rotate based on staffing needs Day Program - Monday-Friday We are also hiring Caregivers/DSPs to work in the Day Program. 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday-Friday No rotating weekend schedule for the day-program position $17.00 per hour Ideal for candidates seeking a consistent weekday schedule Caregiver/DSP Responsibilities Provide direct care, support, and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing Dressing Grooming Toileting Feeding assistance Support individuals with behavioral and emotional needs Follow Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) Administer and document medications as required Transport individuals to appointments and community activities when applicable Complete daily documentation and incident reports Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment Assist individuals with daily routines, structure, and active treatment goals Encourage independence, dignity, and participation in daily activities Work as part of a team to provide consistent and quality care Schedule Requirements Residential 2nd and 3rd shift positions require a mandatory rotating schedule. Candidates must be willing and available to work rotating weekends as part of their regular schedule. Flexibility, reliability, teamwork, and attendance are essential requirements for these positions.
