Job Description

Job Overview True Advantage Home Care, LLC is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and reliable Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide in-home care for a specific client. We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to helping our client remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the home. Schedule - 15
Hours Per Week Morning Shifts:
11:00 AM-1:00 PM (2 hours)
Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday Sunday Evening Shifts:
7:00 PM-8:00 PM (1 hour) Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday Sunday Responsibilities may include: Assistance with personal care and bathing Meal preparation Medication reminders Light housekeeping Laundry Assistance with safe mobility and walker use Safety checks and fall-prevention support Companionship and general supervision Other duties according to the client's individualized care plan
Qualifications:
Previous caregiving, personal care, home care, or CNA experience preferred Compassionate and patient with older adults Dependable and punctual Good communication skills Ability to follow an individualized care plan Must be able to reliably work the scheduled shifts
Important:
This position is currently for a specific client and provides approximately 15 hours per week . Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing overall condition; report changes promptly to healthcare professionals Support medication reminders following HIPAA regulations and care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized care strategies Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Demonstrated experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication is highly valued Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your ability to provide specialized support Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities is advantageous Familiarity with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance techniques required Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training in caregiving best practices encouraged Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks confidently is essential for the role Join us to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through compassionate caregiving.
