Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful assistance to promote independence, safety, and well-being in various settings such as assisted living facilities, home health environments, and community programs. Your energetic approach and caring nature will help create a positive environment for those in your care, ensuring they receive the highest quality support every day. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing changes in condition; communicate findings to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and infection control practices Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs preferred Hands-on experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration required Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training, and relevant nursing or caregiving credentials are strongly preferred Experience with hospice care or working with seniors in long-term care environments is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs effectively Familiarity with creating and following personalized care plans aligned with healthcare standards Join us to provide compassionate support that empowers individuals to live their best lives. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
