Summary We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to join our dedicated team at Wren Hospice for the Greenville, SC area. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality end-of-life care to our patients, ensuring they receive the support and dignity they deserve during this important time. Responsibilities Provide personal care to patients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Monitor and document patient observations and vital signs. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients. Support patients' emotional needs through companionship and communication. Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans. Educate families on caregiving techniques and patient needs. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in hospice or home health care preferred. SC Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus. Current driver licensed with an automobile that is insured. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families. CPR certification preferred but not required Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing quality patient care. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and document care provided in medical records. Support patients with Alzheimer's and other developmental disabilities, fostering a supportive and respectful atmosphere.
