Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
  • Transport patients to medical appointments or outings as needed
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate and patient-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions from healthcare professionals
Skills:
  • Dementia care knowledge
  • Cooking skills for meal preparation
  • Familiarity with medical records documentation
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals
