Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility. The role involves providing essential care and support to patients in various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, teaching hospitals, and trauma centers. Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Help patients with mobility issues and transfers
  • Monitor and report changes in patient health status to the healthcare team
  • Ensure patients' safety and well-being at all times
  • Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals Qualifications
  • Experience or interest in working with geriatric patients
  • Familiarity with medical-surgical, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine environments
  • Ability to work effectively in outpatient clinics and trauma centers
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Compassionate nature and a desire to provide high-quality care
