Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide personalized support with daily living activities. The role promotes client independence, dignity, safety, and well-being in homes, assisted living facilities, or community settings. Responsibilities Assist with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed. Prepare meals and support feeding and dietary needs. Engage clients in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Use safe lifting and manual handling techniques. Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry. Communicate client concerns and condition changes to families and healthcare teams. Provide dementia, memory, and cognitive care. Safely transport clients when needed. Experience Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred. Experience with ADLs, geriatrics, dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of medication assistance, vital signs, and basic first aid/CPR. Ability to safely perform lifting and manual handling. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
