Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, to promote comfort and dignity Monitor patient conditions through observation of vital signs and behavioral cues, reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected Help residents with mobility using proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Support residents' emotional well-being through active communication, companionship, and engagement in recreational activities Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health care is highly desirable Familiarity with patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and care planning processes Experience providing dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care or supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality and resident rights Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices is preferred Background in geriatrics or long-term care environments demonstrates a strong foundation for success in this role Ability to handle physical tasks involving heavy lifting or manual handling safely and effectively Join us in delivering compassionate personal support that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
