Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and medical instructions Support patients with medical procedures like catheter care and wound management as needed Maintain detailed medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate records Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, geriatrics, or in assisted living or nursing home settings Knowledge of home healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and patient confidentiality standards Ability to perform patient transfer methods safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR training Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation procedures Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient mobility tasks safely Embark on a rewarding career where your caregiving expertise transforms lives!
