Description:
Night Time Caregiver for Quadriplegic in Rapid City Looking for a caregiver to assist a young male quadriplegic get in bed. Looking for someone to cover overnights shifts Monday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday nights. 3 shift times available. 8pm to 5am (9 hours) 9pm to 5am (8 hours) 10pm to 5am (7 hours) Start times may be flexible to accommodate your schedule. Pay depending on experience, starting at $18.00 an hour. No experience with Spinal Cord Injury necessary- everything can be learned.
The work consists of:
Assist with the nighttime personal-care routine Operate an overhead lift for a wheelchair-to-bed transfer Assist with changing clothes and personal hygiene Assist with catheter and bladder-care routines after training Help with positioning and comfort in bed Prepare supplies for the morning caregiver Complete light household tasks related to the shift Follow established checklists and care routines Respond appropriately to care needs during the scheduled shift Most important quality isRELIABILITY
