Job Description

Looking for a reliable personal care assistant for an amazing 27 year old young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He is in a motorized wheelchair. He works as an attorney at the Shelby Count DA's office. His day starts at 6 am and goes to 6 pm. We are looking for someone interested in a 2-3 days/wk. Duties include but are not limited to :
Morning:
Out of bed, dressing, toileting, grooming, breakfast , packing lunches and transport to and from work
Work:
Helping with bathroom breaks, set up computer, files, Helping with lunch ect. Any other tasks while at work. Transport back to home. He is a delightful, highly intelligent young man and is the size of a 10 yo weighing 79 lbs. Lifting and transferring required . Dependable vehicle a must. Individual must be reliable and punctual. Must be willing to register for CHOICES program.
