Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated home healthcare team as a compassionate and energetic Home Health Caregivers in Lebanon TN. In a nice home in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy residents to support. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Administer medications following prescribed instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations Support clients with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and other specialized treatments Maintain detailed medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Facilitate safe patient transfers using appropriate methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being, especially for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Follow home healthcare regulations and protocols to deliver high-quality care within legal standards Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health agencies is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and home health care assistance techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is a plus Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR required; additional certifications such as hospice or end-of-life care are advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment like Hoyer lifts Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for client visits within the community
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
