New Haven, LLC is actively hiring Full and Part Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) . We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Caring for individuals within the community you will be responsible for ensuring that individualized supports and services are designed and provided to build on an individual's strengths, interests and needs, and assist individuals with disabilities in becoming full participants in community life by means of advocacy and education directed toward building communities of acceptance. Responsibilities and Duties Provides support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community and to be more independent. Oversees the health and safety of all individuals at all times Reports any changes in health or behavioral status immediately Implements training, therapy and behavior programs and required paperwork. Assists with ensuring that the home or program offers choice. Performs all duties in compliance with state and federal guidelines, agency directives, licensing standards, and policies Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must successfully complete the mandatory Background Check and Drug Screening Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds Must possess basic computer skills Must possess good oral and written skills Must be at least 18 years old BenefitsBenefits are available to those that qualify:
