Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Personal Care Assistant, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans developed by nursing staff Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation tasks Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Proven ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or other cognitive impairments Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and patient care documentation Experience with medication administration, care planning, and working within HIPAA privacy standards Join us to make a meaningful difference every day!
