Job Description
Looking for a flexible caregiver in Far East Montana Vista Ara in El Paso, TX . Caregiver provides individualized services and supports to persons with intellectual disabilities who are living with their family, in their own home. Caregiver for this position is responsible of providing care to special needs child. Duties include feeding, dressing, bathing and helping child with daily living activities, exercises, and light housework. A Caregiver's Responsibilities will include: Providing daily living needs for child such as bathing, dressing, and diaper change. Transferring from one place to another using hoyer lift (example: bed to wheelchair, bath chair, activity chair) Caregiver also provides light housekeeping in the home. Caregivers provide a clean home for the residents which include ensuring the home, bedroom, kitchen and laundry are cleaned for client according to schedule. Caregiver will serve meals for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Some meals are pre-prepared. Caregiver will administer regular medication. Attending appointments as a companion Qualifications for the Resident Assistant position are: Read, write, and speak in the English language. Bilingual English and Spanish speaker preferred Be able to lift, carry, push and pull 50 pounds Experience with working with seniors or children with special needs preferred. CNA preferred. Successfully complete a criminal background check Successfully adhere to the Alcohol and Drug-Free workplace policy. Have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
