Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence Support patient observation and monitor health status by tracking vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition updates Help with meal preparation and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met in a safe manner Facilitate patient transfers using manual handling techniques or equipment like Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during mobility assistance Maintain accurate care plans and document resident progress, changes in condition, and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to enhance mental and emotional well-being Support residents with specialized needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, or neurodevelopmental disorders Requirements Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Familiarity with care plans, HIPAA compliance, manual handling procedures, and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to hospice care or dementia support are a plus Ability to assist with ADLs efficiently while maintaining a compassionate attitude toward residents' individual needs Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, assist with transfers, and provide personal transportation assistance when needed Join us in delivering exceptional person-centered care that enriches lives!
